Privacy policy

Sticky Legend is a business name of Odo Australian Group Pty Ltd (ABN 40 669 601 058). This policy explains what personal information we collect through stickylegend.com.au and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, email address, postal address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought.
  • When you pay: your payment is handled by Shopify and its payment providers. We don't see or keep your full card number.
  • When you browse: Shopify uses cookies to keep your cart and checkout working and to give us basic visit statistics, such as how many people looked at a page, and the Meta, TikTok and Snapchat pixels described below record what you look at in the shop.
  • When you contact us: your message and the details you include.
  • When you join our email list: your email address.

Why we use it

  • To take your order, post it and send you emails about it.
  • To answer your messages and sort out problems.
  • To send you our email about new stickers, only if you signed up. Every email has a link to stop them.
  • To prevent fraud and to keep the records the law requires.

Who else sees it

  • Shopify, which runs our online shop and stores its data. Shopify may store and process information outside Australia, including in Canada and the United States.
  • Shopify's payment providers, to process your payment.
  • Australia Post, which sees the name and address on your envelope.

We don't sell your personal information. We use advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Snapchat. When you visit the shop, the pixels tell these companies which pages you looked at, what you added to your cart and whether you bought something, so we can measure our ads and show them to people who might like them. Shopify also sends Meta this activity straight from its own servers (Meta's Conversions API), so it is counted even when your browser blocks the pixel. When you check out, Shopify sends them scrambled (hashed) copies of your contact details, like your email address or phone number, so they can match the order to an account. Each company handles this under its own privacy policy. You can limit this in your phone's ad settings and in the ad settings of each app, including Off-Facebook activity for Facebook and Instagram.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to deal with your order and to meet tax and legal record-keeping rules, which in Australia is usually 5 years.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we don't need to keep. Email hello@stickylegend.com.au.
